Nana took you for a walk

I absolutely love this photo Nana took of you!

New day care

Today your daddy and I went and looked at a new daycare for you.  It's also a place to learn (learning center). It's hard for me to be the one changing this part of your life.  I am trusting God that this is the right decision for our family.  I took a new job that will allow me more flexibility to be with you more. I love Ms. Tray and seeing you during the day but I would rather see you in the late afternoons more often.  My new job will allow this.  Tomorrow I have to tell my boss and I am SO nervous.  You are my inspiration so I won't be too nervous.

Your first night away

Last night was your first night away from the house without me or daddy. It was your first night away from me.  We missed you. It was so weird going into your nursery in you not being in there. Jackson woke me up early this morning so I just got up and came into town early and eating breakfast now.  Yesterday we had lunch with aunt Bernice and cousin Heather and Laura and Nana.  They loved meeting you!!

Sunday morning

You woke up early and I wasn't ready to get up yet. This is perfect!

Our boy at 5 months

Yesterday you were five months old. This last month has really gone by fast. I was just in your room feeding you as you normally wake up around 2 AM and 5 AM. When you're done eating you are usually a little more tired and that's when you will lean your head up against my chest while I'm burping you and it's like a little sleepy snuggle. I love that! You've always been a little bit more independent and wanting to sit up or stand since you were very very small. Maybe that says that you're going to be a big strong independent man one day. Like your daddy!  If you're anything like your daddy you are going to be a wonderful gentleman! There's not a better man in the world than your dad. I think your personality is really starting to show and you're such a sweet lighthearted boy. You're always smiling so happy. Sometimes it's hard to believe that God gave us you.  We are so blesses.
Yesterday we went and saw Ansley play softball and we got to hang out with her mom and dad and also: Cohen. It was opening weekend of turkey hunting and that is your dad's favorite hunting sport so he went and did that near milledgeville.

Project stay-at-home mom

Hey little buddy, today I took the day off from my real job so I could go meet someone I know that sells antiques. You need some help painting some of his furniture which I like doing. Part of me I thought that I could help with that and also self filters that used to do with my dad. Then I got to stay and watch you today and I know she had so much fun it's been on my mind to write to you every day on here so that you know what I think about and what you're doing and how life is well your baby.  I'm also trying to practice guitar more. The other night I put you on our bed and I got out my guitar and you seem to enjoy listening to it. I feel like I don't get much time with you when I work Monday through Friday and get home late but now that the days are longer it more time to be with you outside so we look forward to going for walks with you and I look forward even two tomorrow and Sunday being with you both days and not having to work

Weekend

This past Friday you got your second set of shots. Daddy take you along with his mom who we call Grandmere. I had to work the gift show in Atlanta it started on Friday and ended on Sunday. I didn't have to go in today though because there was no traffic yesterday. So excited about that because the weather was absolutely gorgeous this weekend. Yesterday your dad told me that he had you in the stroller a couple times and once you went running and the other time you hung out in the stroller while he installed his new bike rack. Today his dad and Beverly came and visited you. I went to the Georgia horse Park as they were having a consignment sale. I bought you some small little toys that you can use to chew on. Last night we went across the street to have pizza with our neighbors because their son had his birthday party. You and daddy at home out there earlier in the day that when I got home we went back over there to visit again. All the neighbors love seeing you and holding you. This evening our neighbors Sabrina and Jeff invited us to come over to their house because some other neighbors were there. It was fun getting to take you over there   Today is the first day of the new time change so the evening was lighter longer. We went for a jog this afternoon.  Then we came home and daddy made salmon, broccoli, and a sweet potato. He's a good cook!  Now we are going to bed because we are old and tired :). We feel so blessed to have you in our lives !
