Grandmere napping with you

Grandmere is so good with you and you have fun when she is here. She came to help watch Benjamin yesterday while you were at your swimming lesson and then when we got home she played with you and got you in bed to take your nap. She said to get you to go to sleep she acted like she was going to sleep and you both ended up falling asleep. 

Swimming lessons

You are taking your second week of swimming lessons!  Today when I picked you up you were able to reach for a toy in the shower part of the pool underwater!

Boo boos

During our camping you feel down on the street and scuffed up your elbow and knee and then one time you fell off the picnic table and landed on your head and when you did that you screamed for a daddy. I felt so bad!  

Camping-father's Day weekend

We went and stayed at your granddad's on Friday night and left Benjamin with my mom. Saturday morning was a beautiful morning with the breeze blowing and we played outside for a little bit while daddy spent time with his dad. We went to Blue Ridge lake and camp at the campsite there and it was absolutely gorgeous. You had a fun time and enjoy this Moore's and the tenant and swimming in the beach area. We only stayed one night and then got up and went on another hike down to the beach area where we play for little bit while Daddy picked up the tent. I was watching you play with putting things on a log and looking in the background at the beautiful mountains and feeling thankful that it was Father's Day and a time to remember how wonderful my dad was and hoping he was seeing us and you playing. I'm pretty sure he could. On the way home we stopped and took over the restaurant which is the same place where daddy and I had our rehearsal dinner. Benjamin at Nanas she gave you a haircut on your bangs. Father's Day was great for your daddy!  I've been the only thing he would've done different was get to sleep in. As soon as the sun came up you woke up and said it's bright and I want out of the tent. 

I love you mommy

I'm out of town for work and I just called you and daddy on FaceTime and daddy said tell your mom you love her and you said "I love you mommy!"  The whole time I was watching you, I had a big smile on my face because you make my heart so happy!  You are so full of life and so happy!  I'm the proudest mom to have you as my son.

Mommy's birthday

Uncle Dwayne and aunt Angela babysat you and Benjamin Saturday night while mommy and daddy went to have dinner to celebrate my 42nd birthday. Yesterday when you woke up you came out to the kitchen and we're looking for something and it was a present that you had made while they were babysitting. It was a flowerpot with your hand and footprints!  There was a tiny Benjamin footprint also. You made me a card too!  

When we got home Saturday night they said that you were very easy to get to bed and we had to laugh because you always cry when we tell you it's time to go to bed when we don't stay in there with you. They said they told you it was bedtime and you got off the sofa and went to your room and they read a book and then you went to sleep. You slept until 9 AM the next morning. Aunt Angie said that you were very good and played a lot with Dwayne. Yesterday for my birthday when they were both here you wanted to keep playing with them and would say come here Ms Angela!

8:00!!

It's not even 8 o'clock and you and your brother are both asleep for the night!  This is a first!
