Potty and silly string

I put some silly string in your Easter basket. We just got it out last night when I told you if you go potty and there is poop in the potty, then you get a present and you pushed out a tiny little piece. Ha ha. I put two cans of it in a bag and we went outside with daddy and you loved it. You giggled and laughed and we sprayed it on each other. Kid you have such a good great sense of humor that it is so fun doing stuff like that with you.

The past two nights you said, "love you mommy" when I said "love you Sam" at bedtime. Melt my heart!

Perfect morning

You were up bright and early this morning around 715 and wanted pancakes. You forward your syrup on each one like we've been doing and you are talking so good it's unbelievable. Daddy wanted to do some work in the yard such as cutting the grass so that he can put more seed out since it's almost April. Took Benjamin down to the dock with us inside the little wrap and he just slept for two hours. You have been saying fish in the lake which means you want to go down to the dock and play and go fishing. Well daddy cut the grass you right around in your little jeep and then you played in the flower boxes we have out there that just have the soil in it. You have such a strong imagination now so you pretend that things are food and toys such as the sticks and rocks. We pretended like we were eating in the little cabin and then we actually came inside and got you a Sprite and some chips and we went back out and sat there and ate them together. 

When daddy was done he got to play with you even more while I nursed your brother on the porch. I could hear you and your dad down on the dock and it was so precious thinking that we are so blessed to have this beautiful home on this beautiful lot with two beautiful boys

Morning routine

A few weeks ago, we got a TV for your room. When you wake up lately we turn it on (channel Sprout). Then you come out and get in your highchair and have breakfast. Then we get you dressed for your daycare (we call it school). Yesterday and today daddy took you outside to play. When I take you to school, I usually sit with you at the little table near the kitchen. I am so fortunate to not have a desk job to have the flexibility to have more time with you in the mornings.  You used to get upset when we would leave you but now you seem to like it and always find a friend, toy or start an art project.  It's sweet and we know you have fun there. Yesterday I watched the camera for a bit and you were singing songs and dancing. That makes me happy!  At home, we are getting better at disicipling you. You pitch fits when you don't get what you want (cookies for breakfast, having to leave your sticks outside). Your teacher said today that you were so good yesterday. Happy to hear that!
