Superbowl Weekend

This is the 3rd Monday I've been back to work since you've been born. Today is the hardest day for me so far being back to work. Nothing about it being hard is what's hard. It's hard being away from you. Mrs. Tray who watches you called me earlier and told me that you weren't able to be consoled. I came back to see you and you were so upset and red faced. Poor guy! I just went back to see you for my lunch break and she told me that you were like that again. I don't see you that upset much, so I wish I was the one always taking care of you....during the day instead of being at work. This was such a nice weekend! We took you to the grocery store and used our Ergo carrier. You did great and even fell asleep in it on my chest. So sweet. Then me, you and Daddy went for a walk near the monastary on a new trail that just opened up. On Sunday, we visited a church that is closer to our house. You did great and fell asleep in my arms towards the middle of the service. We love you so much! Then, we came home and we took a walk while daddy worked in the yard and smoked some ribs for dinner. When we got back home, we went down to the dock and fed the geese. It was in the 70's outside and it's early February. Big difference from last week when we had snow, huh?! The "Spring" like weather made me so excited for warmer weather so we can be outside more doing fun things! Since you've been born, we've spent most of our time inside. Daddy and I can't wait to take you camping, for walks, hiking and to the pool! We live in a great neighborhood for doing fun things, that's for sure! Well buddy, I love you so very much and can't wait to get home with you tonight to play more. Love, Mommy
