Saturday morning was 4th of July and our neighborhood was scheduled to have a parade. It ended up raining so the parade was canceled. Our neighbors were having us over for lunch so we all contributed by baking and cooking different things. Daddy help smoke the brisket and ribs so he spent a lot of time doing that. Make coleslaw, mac & cheese and homemade ice cream. Over at their house you got to go down to their playroom in the basement and played with the boys and all their toys. After we had lunch you had your first ice cream cone. It was adorable and you ended up biting off the bottom of the cone and the ice cream is dripping out the bottom. You were really tired this weekend so you are a little bit cranky over at the neighbors so we ended up bringing you home early. Is Laura came over with Reynolds and it was fun seeing you interact with her and you also were a little jealous when Reynolds was sitting in my lap and using your highchair. You watch fireworks with us around 930 on the dock and then you went to bed.
Yesterday was dad's birthday so we got up early and went to the aquarium to me Gramayre and Papa Bill. You were kind of cranky about 30 minutes into the visit and we stopped and had a little snack at one of the tables. He did really good at the dolphin show and seem to enjoy it and then we left shortly after that was over. We went and had lunch at Johnny Rockets and you were a little bit hard to deal with but the table behind us had a teenager that you ended up playing peekaboo with and having fun.
My friend Tracey was in town from Japan who I was in tops in blue with. She and her husband came over here and spend the afternoon with us and have dinner and celebrating dad's birthday.
I was just sitting here in the living room doing my coffee and devotion and reflecting on how precious you are to us and thanking God for you!
We had a busy weekend and sometimes they get so busy that I wish you were here at the house just relaxing but I know you are having fun with all the other people and activities.
