For Christmas Eve, we went to the 7 pm service. They didn't have child care so daddy played with you in the nursery. I sang a pretty song called Be Born In Me. Right before I sang, I saw daddy bring you up to the balcony. That made my heart melt. You were so good. When I sat down back in the pew below, I heard you say "ma ma" a few times. I came up there with yall! Katie and her family came and Angie and Dwayne and Alex and Lacey. Sweet!
You seemed to understand leaving cookies and milk for Santa. You ate some cereal for dinner and really just poured it all over your high chair. I said we can give that to the reindeer and you were excited about that. You handed me the bowl and said rain deer and even wanted to leave them your milk. You helped pick out cookies for Santa and put them on his plate.
After that, we opened a present each and read The Night Before Christmas. You wanted to sleep in our bed, so you fell asleep in ours and daddy moved you to your crib.
We have your new room all set up for you to see tomorrow. Maybe that can be your play room for a few months as a transition.
You are the greatest gift we could ever ask for! You are really somebody special our sweet and funny Sam!
Merry Christmas!!
