Love notes

We have a cleaning lady named Amy that I absolutely adore and she has two granddaughters that are the same ages as you and Benjamin. The one that is your age is named Charlie Rose. Amy told me the other day that Charlie Rose's dad has been writing her notes every other day since she was born. I was thinking what a great idea and then I realize that I feel like I've been doing that with you with your blog. Sometimes I do wonder if I tell you enough how much I adore you and how much joy you bring to our lives. You are almost 2 1/2 years old and your personality is so stinking cute and just so full of life and happiness. You are definitely funny and like to be silly and know that I am silly with you. You and I goof around more than your daddy and you do and I think sometimes that might be a disadvantage as you don't take me serious and I hope that doesn't cause you to get in trouble. For example the other night I told you several times to get in your bed and you just kept playing with your toys so I had to grab the stick to tell you I was going to paddle you and you realized I was serious. Then you still kept playing with your toys so I pushed your head on your pillow and said go to sleep and you got really upset with me.

I probably should've just paddled you instead of losing my temper after telling you 10 times. It's very hard for me to paddle you. I've learned it's best to stay calm and just do it instead of getting upset and raising my voice which I need to get better at.
