Weekend events

This was such a beautiful day and such a nice time of year. It's Sunday and we got up and went to church and then went to Lowes and got some flowers and some seeds. You and Benjamin took really long naps today – over three hours. Daddy has been working really hard in the yard and wanted to finish up weed eating and putting down more seed. I stayed inside and took a quick nap and then waited for you both to wake up. Daddy got done and we sat outside on the deck and I had some ice tea and he had his non-alcoholic beer. We have such a beautiful backyard and such a great view that it's nice to get to spend time looking at it and using it. When you woke up I took you down to the plant boxes and we put some lettuce seeds and flower seeds in the boxes. Then you and I dug for some worms and now you and daddy are fishing. Benjamin is sitting here in his little itsy-bitsy spider seat and using his arms and legs and so excited.

On Thursday night I went out to Nanas and took Benjamin and we spent the day with her on Friday and then she had a party selling clothes on Friday night. Saturday morning I got up early and went to visit my friends house that they just bought. Was Lara and Ralph and I also got to see Reynolds who I haven't seen in six months. She is a year younger than you and it's neat to see how much you can change in such a little amount of time.

Yesterday when I got home you were napping so when you got up we walked over to the Conner's house and you got to play with the girls outside and jump on the trampoline. Our neighbors have lots of children so you get to play with them when they are outside. The Boans across the street have Ethan and Madeline who you really like. Gordon and Julie have Gordy who is a year older than you. Connors have Raylea and Caleb who are a few years older than you but still are nice and sweet to you.

I feel so blessed to have our life and sometimes it's very easy to take it for granted or be in a bad mood because you were tired which seems to be common these days. Think going to church has help me become more focused on what is important and I hope that we continue to make that a priority. So far it's been three weeks in a row we have gone!
